NEW 3rd GENERATION IMPROVED 700 LUMEN MODEL NOW AVAILABLE

These LEDs are a simple, quick and direct replacement for your older style standard BA15S bulbs. They need no resistors or change of relay to stop hyperflash and are also canbus compatible. They are truly plug and play. These are designed for modern cars with 12 volt systems to fool the electronic flasher systems and not therefore suitable for classics or vehicles with mechanical flasher relays.

Please select the number required from the drop down menu. The price is for a single LED bulb.

Multiple Bright Amber SMD's in an aluminium body. Very strong and extensively tested. The LEDs are 47mm in length. These LED bulbs will not wash out your amber lens colour and will give you a rich brighter result than you get with standard filament bulbs. They can be used behind clear or amber lenses to great effect.

12 Month Build issue warranty on this product. We recommend that you only use your Hazard lights in an emergency. Unnecessary prolonged use of your hazard lights can lead to early failure of the LEDs. Not suitable for use with USDM Kits.

PLEASE NOTE:
These are CANBUS compatible in the majority of cases and although unlikely with these, some vehicles still require extra load to stop bulb out warnings - most often when using 4 of these rather than just 2 but this issue is rare. This is not a fault with the LEDs as CANBUS systems do vary and it is impossible to match all. Ballast resistors can be purchased from us at very competitive prices if you do get a bulb out warning light.

All prices shown exclude UK VAT which will be added at checkout together with postage where appropriate.

Converting Triumph (Meriden) Bonneville (-ve earth) to LEDs

Really good products, a good range, fast service and free postage.

I used these indicator bulbs and other bulbs for the stop/tail/number plate (12VSTWW_1, warm white as it sits behind a coloured lens and also has to illuminate the number plate), 4 warning lights, 2 instrument lights (speedo, rev counter) and a compatible relay to suit the low current drain of the indicator bulbs (I already had a pilot bulb from another supplier).

Now, with the exception of the headlamp, the bike is all LEDs. Just got to get through the MoT.

The wiring design had the indicator warning light bridging the two sides (left and right) so that that bulb earthed through the indicators that were off. With the new bulbs and relay the system worked alright although the warning light was dim as the resistance of the LEDs is much higher than the old incandescent bulbs so I added diodes to the feed to the warning light and an earth wire from it to restore the proper brightness. There's just enough space in the binnacle between the two clocks to fit this modification.

TVR Chimaera update

Just to add to previous review:

Having been so impressed with the dramatic improvement to the rear of the car, I've also now added these to the front indicators. I have the later ("facelifted") version without the mesh grille, so access was easy and this was a quick and simple swap from filament bulb to LED.

Much brighter and more noticeable indicator function than before, and flash rate remains correct.

Perfect for TVR Chimaera

Just to reassure anyone currently considering buying these for a TVR Chimaera, I bought a pair for the rear clusters of my 1999 (i.e. quad rear clusters rather than the older Fiesta-sourced units) model and they work perfectly.

The flash rate remains correct - no need to mess around with flasher units or ballast resistors. If you can change a light bulb then you can change this particular light bulb. The most difficult bit is unscrewing the bulb holders from the lens units (if there has been overzealous carpet adhesive application!), but even I managed with my little twig arms.

Quick and easy job, but very satisfying result. Much brighter light output with more instantaneous on/off action (rather than the previous feeble filament glow that takes time to warm up and cool down). Fills the entire lens evenly with a deeply saturated amber colour - I'm almost looking forward to breaking down so I can sit and watch the hazards flashing...

Note that this is the fitting with the 180 degree opposed pins (P21W), rather than the offset pins (PY21W).
