This is a pair of top quality, H4 LED headlights made with the latest high power SMDs which produce a clean focused light with no glare and a very well defined beam that replicates the low and main beam pattern of a standard H4 halogen bulb when fitted to the appropriate headlight reflector.

Our new smaller build with a smaller control unit and easier mounting, these are a great upgrade from Halogen Lamps.

IP 65 Waterproof and vibration proof with IC Control, they are manufactured from aviation grade aluminium so are built to last.

The placement of the SMD's has been specifically designed to mimic the dimensions of a standard H4 Halogen bulb. As a result, you can be confident that they will produce an improved brighter light that will not dazzle other road users. In addition the reach of the beam (how far you can see ahead) is excellent and will provide an all round much improved performance over halogen bulbs.

These can be universally fitted with ease and are a simple plug and play solution with no changes to your existing wiring, they plug into your existing H4 socket.

They switch on immediately to give you instant light at maximum brightness. Cooling is provided by the built in high performance fan. They WILL improve your night time driving experience.

These LEDs are not polarity sensitive so will work with negative and positive earth vehicles.

We use these headlight bulbs on our own cars so know the benefits these bulbs have and how easy they are to fit.

Colour: Pure White 6000-6500K (standard halogen is 3500-4500k) or Warm White 4300k.
Voltage: 9-32V will suit 12 volt and 24 volt vehicles
Lumen: 4500 main beam and 4500 dipped beam per bulb (standard halogen is around 1200 and 700 Lumen respectively)
Lifespan: 50,000 hours
Current Drawn: 3.5 Amps (standard halogen uses 5 Amps) - the power drawn is dramatically reduced

The control unit measures 43 x 27 x 15mm.

The MOT rules have been clarified from 06.02.23 to allow the use of LED conversions that pass the beam pattern tests for headlights for Class 3, 4, 5 and 7 vehicles (car, private bus and light commercial vehicle) first used before 1 April 1986 and all class 1 and 2 motorcycles of any age.

Sebring sprite light upgrade

Finally got round to fitting the Classic Car LED upgrade to my Sebring Sprite.
The headlights are amazing. The beam pattern is excellent. after a little adjustment as good as I’ve seen on any car and I’ve Mot’d a few over the years!

Revenge is mine.

For decades (it seems) I have put up with being all but blinded by the serried ranks of badly aligned, dazzling pairs of super-bright-white LED headlights coming the other way.
Me with my one halogen light. (It's a motorcycle. I looked at LED spotlights, but mounting is a problem). Even with super powerful Halogen bulbs, it was, at times, dangerous to be riding at any speed. Blind faith was my constant companion.
No more! Now my eyes are acclimatised at all times to the very white light, wether it is my own or the other traffic, and the position of the LED is a good mesh with the glass lenses to create a beam pattern which is virtually the same as a 'normal' bulb. On a bike with a 1980's charging system, the lower current demand has eased the strain on the system, allowing much quicker battery re-charging after a period of town riding.
Careful (but easy) setting up and subsequent fine tuning has given a very good performance overall: I found it best to create a slightly tipped-up-to-the-right dip beam- this gave the best near-side spread without going anywhere near dazzling opposite direction traffic.
If I had niggles, it is that I would prefer the high beam to be a bit more of a 'search-light', with less scatter, but this may be the lens, of course. And the wires could be shorter for the restricted confines of a motorcycle headlamp shell, but fitting was no problem.
Improvement over a Halogen?- 5000%.
Definitely changing all the other bikes, too!

As a modification to my Triumph TR3, the LED headlamps are superb, providing tremendous light on both high beam and dip functions. I actually used them on a classic rally this weekend and the difference was incredible. Duncan at Classic Car LEDs was most patient and helpful with his advice, and fitting the lamps was very straightforward.
